En 2012, je perds l’audition. Paradoxalement l’écoute se raffine. La perception de la réalité est de plus en plus subtile. Le son devient un matériau important. Ainsi que la voix. Je témoigne du déploiement de qualités humaines dites féminines telle que recevoir, percevoir l’espace vibrationnel.
Comme ancienne ingénieure, je sais scientifiquement que tout est énergie. Vibration. Fréquence. Et donc musique. Dans ce corps d’oeuvres performatif réalisé au Canada, aux Etats-Unis et en Inde, j’accorde le corps, la voix avec l’espace vibrationnel environnant. Comment la perception de l’espace transforme-t-elle la voix? Comment la voix transforme-t-elle la perception de l’espace?
In 2012 I lost my hearing. Paradoxically the listening sharpened. The perception of reality became more and more subtle. Sound became an important material of the art work. and so the voice. and so the feminine quality of receiving, perceiving the vibrational space.
Everything is energy, vibes, frequency, music and so does space.
In this artwork, I am tuning the body with space. Body as a vocal-sound tuner. Sound inhabiting a context according to the vibrational space of the environment. As an ex engineer, this perception of energetic fields is now tangible and real through the body of an artist.
