FEEL HOW YOU FEEL

Is the main instruction of this art piece. Feel how you feel and eyes closed trace the movement of life within the body. The inner landscape. One person at a time, I invite people to play with me this ‘game’ inspired by a daily practice. I hold the space by tracing with the participant on the same paper. The journey lasts 5-10 min per person. It is a durational experience for the performer, aimed for 3 hours and more.

This public one-on-one performance intents to offer a space for grounding, to stop and listen within. Some might think that diving within, connecting with the inner self needs an intimate and secluded space. This work invites the audience to experience how it is to feel, to be oneself anywhere, in a public space. How do we perceive our inner reality in a crowded space? How does the rhythm of a city shape our own inner landscape? How the city life is experienced after diving within? How does an attentive experiential space affect the perception of people in the city?
